IF POSSIBLE COULD YOU BE AT TRACK BY 7-00am AND REPORT
TO WAYNE OR JUDY
1/ SHADE SHELTERS TO BE ERECTED
2/ IMPLEMENTS TO BE TAKEN TO EACH SECTOR
3/ HELPING AT THE THROWS EVENTS
4/ RECORDING AT THE THROW EVENTS
5/ HELPING WITH THE STARTING OF THE TRACK EVENTS
6/ HELPING AT THE LONG/TRIPLE JUMPS
7/ TIME KEEPING
8/ RETURN GEAR AT END OF COMPETITION
MANY OTHER DUTIES THROUGHOUT THE MORNING, IMPORTANT
IS TO ASSIST WITH TAKING DOWN THE SHADE SHELTERS AND RETURNING THE IMPLEMENTS
TO THE SHED.
Competition season beginning in September
The need for members and volunteers will be in urgent
demand to help on competition days – the roster is made up
with members in an alpha format, unfortunately we have not had a
good response with members turning up to do their roster duty. I
was questioned last season why some people saw their names a second
time around, reason was, I ran out of names and had to begin again,
It would be good not to have to repeat. we need people to help run
the competition ,so if all did their turn it would be wonderful.
You will notice , members from outer Brisbane region are not of
Roster duty, BUT please if you are able to come and help out just
turn up , you will more than welcome and certainly NEEDED
We are calling on any members or family or friends
who could assist with the following roles:
Starter (this role is to assist and learn the starting
procedure)
Meet Manager (this role is to assist running the
competition each Saturday)
Sign In Table (this is to take ground fees and to
ensure all sign in)
Ideally the above roles would be a person who does
not compete
